Clipboard managers are one of my “must have” softwares. The windows clipboard is useful but, if you copy anything, the current contents of the clipboard is lost. This is especially annoying in advanced text editing or code editing, where you accidentally overwrite the clipboard, and is a huge inconvenience. Linux users use Klipper and other utilities which allow them to paste from a small number of text files in a clipboard buffer. There are a few alternatives, though.

Often, there are static websites spanning several links that you refer to frequently, maybe a manual or a help page, or an encyclopedia, etc. Firefox’s “Save As” feature is okay but often it breaks the page design, and there’s no option to backup other pages linked to the site.
HTTrack a free(GPL) utility to back up any webpage with sufficient number of linked pages and store them offline for easy browsing, which is fast and saves the world a little bandwidth. This little software is extremely powerful and configurable, and you can change options as the path where the downloaded files are stored, and what images/js to download, etc.
It works by building recursively all the directories, effectively “mirroring” a website, and you can browse the site as if you were viewing it online. This is also great for redistributing websites and backing them up.
