So often invention comes as happenstance to lesser ideas. Certainly the new Sony Vaio (Con Dios) is an example of fortuitous design. Using the still prototyped Intel Pentium 11 the Sony VCD achieves internal processing speeds of a barely believabl 11 terra hertz. As yet a possible interface that fully uses this speed has not been developed. In the interim Sony has opted to install the chip in their top of the line Vaio model # 0000000011.

As stated above the current function of the Sony VCD is secondary to it’s original design. The internal processor reaching 11 terra places the Vaio (Con Dios) BPS at slightly more than the speed of light. This has accidently allowed an new ethernet capability. This remarkable laptop allows the user to send and receive emails to and from God…Gods email address being God@god.com,biz,net,org,info, and every other extention known. It seems God is everywhere.

While the 19 inch Vaio LCD monitor is unable to process the Intel 11 speed there are reports that images resembling those found on the shroud of turin and several Lays potato chips have been seen on the screen.

When asked if an operating system capable of activating the VCD monitor was in the works Microsoft Corporation issued the following statement:

“At this time Microsoft has no plans to develop an operating system for the Sony Vaio (Con Dios). Mr. Gates checked his email this morning and his mailbox was empty we must therefore conclude messages to God have not been sent.”

Sony responded with a press release explaining that the Sony VCD sends emails directly to God and that Mr. Gate’s messages are forwarded straight to…. .

In an effort to compete with the booming popularity of Apple’s iphone Nokia has announced production of their newest model # 01A. The working name for the product is simply “The Time Phone” . The Timephone is unique among cellular technology in that it does not play mp3s, you can not watch videos on it, and you can not access the internet. It has but one function.

Nokia Model 01A allows the user to dial his own number and place a call to himself (or herself) exactly one week in the past. One simply dials their own number and the party who possessed the phone 168 hours prior answers the ringtone. It is predicted that millions of errors in judgement will be prevented daily by users living in the past having knowledge of future events. The Nokia Timephone is currently only available in Henry Ford Black with a Western Electric 302 ringtone.

Here’s a new search engine that displays your search so you can really see what you are looking for.

There are a couple of settings that you can tweak on how you want your search results to be displayed, ie size of the thumbnails, as a list, grid, or a pile of pictures/videos.

It’s pretty cool, in case you got bored with browsing flickr and youtube the normal way. There is also ebay and amazon on the list.
