On the blogosphere (whoever coined that!) barring the big tech companies who have direct access and contact with news makers and breakers, a small time average ‘having-a-offline-life’ blogger cant possible be the first one to hear the latest news and blog about it all. If he does its nothing but reprint via the big players.

But it takes some skill in mastering the art of reblogging and linking. Here are few of my fav sites that I keep an eye on entirely for the links the lead me to.

  • I’ve been feed reading Carol’s Blog for quite sometime now and my admiration for her grows everyday. truly the freeware queen. there is not a freeware alternative she cant find!
  • Makeuseof.com : If you read this blog via Greader, you wouldnt like it. i dont, mainly because most of the posts are like as if someone purposely dumped every other link he/she clicked and turned it into a blog post. but on the rarity the clearly linked ones (yes the blue colored words) are actually good stuff. (they also do a smashing magzine style listing of webware too)
  • Hotlinks : Nice short a la tweet style burbs of links.
  • Shell Extension City: All the awesome shell stuff you cant find anywhere else

If there is any other blog you are a fan of add in please!
